Suggestions for running Kids Club Board Game Day

Step 1:

The day before organize the kids to bring in their favourite board games for Board Game Day to supplement the giant games you will have from our package.

Step 2:

In the morning set up several stations where you do a short “How to Play” lesson and kids go to whichever station suits them best. For example, if a kid has never played scrabble before then they might go to the scrabble lesson whereas other kids might rather to go the draughts lesson or any kids that already know how to play all games can skip lesson and get into it.

Step 3:

Setup the giant games in this package plus set up an area with tables and chairs for smaller games that kids have brought in so kids can just play whatever games they like.

Step 4:

Run a “Giant Jenga Survivor Competition” for whoever wants to enter. You do a random draw and have kids play each other throughout the day and the day kids will slowly get knocked out like survivor until there are finally two kids left for the final. Maybe get everyone to gather around for the big final at end of day to create excitement.
